    Dear Vaibhav,

    no it is not, MBA today is one of the most taken up education but what lacks to understand is that MBA should be considered after minimum 2-3 years of relevant exp, so that it can enhance your existing experience and knowledge.

    When we talk about entrepreneurs, its like they have to choose between either their work or studies(MBA).

    Entrepreneurship is an idea which if worked upon fructifies into a business. Today if one has an idea and one thinks that he/she can wait for 1 or 2 years to complete his mba, then implement his/her idea then things can go wrong.

    World today is very dynamic and if you don't implement something then somebody somewhere else might think of the same idea and implement it.

    So I am certainly not against MBA. Studies is always essential, its just that I feel that sometimes one has to make a very harsh choice of choosing between work and studies.

    With an MBA from a good institution probability is very high of getting a high paying job, but with an idea u are always in an insecure zone. I guess that's the reason we all run after MBA's to make our lives secure.
